"I have found from my own experience that there can be an inner knowing when your time is almost up on this earth.
So I simply asked and listened. Now it was my turn to ask for guidance and the words to say to this woman who was about ready to die.
Suddenly as we were talking, I heard myself saying to her “It feels like you are going to have a choice as when to leave us.
Tomorrow is Sunday and the gate will be open or Monday. Yes! Monday is very strong for you.”
I then found myself giving her instructions for the days and hours to come. "

Working with the Dying
Elaina known as Deva has worked with the dying as a result of a
Near Death Experience in 1986. She has brought new hope
and understanding to the terminally ill and the families
that love them.
Also, her strong inherited intuitive gifts and being a strong empath,
she found herself sharing her gifts with the medical profession
assisting in the communication between the family and the doctors.
Soon, she found herself with a large grief and loss practice using
not only her own journey but her medium abilities to contact
the other side.
Working as a Psychic Detective since 1983, she soon found herself
working with the families of murder victims to bring healing and
closure after traditional therapy was no longer effective.
One last communication with their loved one started the closure
and next stage of the healing process. In her twenties her slant
in college was psychology but soon found she was conflicted about
this process to work in this field.
She was surprised that she had a natural “knowing” about this
subject and could not understand why people paid so much money
to get a piece of paper.
It was apparent a crossroads was waiting
up ahead. Between classes she would sit at the tables and find
many people coming to sit with her and share their pain and the
confusion in their life. Even some of the staff would spend a bit
of time with her at lunch time.
Sometimes a person would ask
if they could pay her for her time saying that they felt better
about their situation and had new understanding. She would
refuse their offer but at times found the person smiling
putting money on the table saying,"No you earned it that helped
me more the my psychiatrist. "
She was not totally aware of
what was starting to be shown about her life's direction until
a professor spoke privately with her. He stated that he never
thought he would be saying this to a student but upon his
observing her and the effect it had on those who spent time
with her, it was apparent that she had some unusual gifts and
a natural ability to work from this level.
“I never thought in
my life I would find myself telling a student this, but I think
you should get expertise in your own abilities. I am afraid if
you go to the next level your gifts will become clouded with
data and other nonsense.” This was shocking to her as she
like most, identified with the piece of paper and it was
unsettling. She found her self in constant prayer as to be
shown her Destiny.
Soon life took her in a different direction where she found
herself in 1979 living in Mexico City and connected with a
well known Parapsychologist. This introduced her to some
of the most renowned, mediums, and healers and researchers
in the world. Her P.H.D was arriving in a most unique field and
manner.
It was here that she received feedback on her own
natural abilities and her life’s work was revealed. She also
worked in conjunction with traditional therapist having them
send their clients that were blocked on issues or traumatic
events and saying with a smile, “I have had a few of them on
my couch also. We all need a turn at that one.”
Throughout the
years many of her clients would later on in life become
therapists that would combine the spiritual with the
traditional. “Inspiring someone to want to also reach out to
those in pain whispers I have been on the right path even
when others may have found me controversial in those days.
She says, “In those early days there really was no one in my
area doing this type of work with the depth of the gifts
given to me. It was lonely at times and I was on the front
lines of the skeptics.
I remember one time being asked by
a snooty nurse, “And what exactly is your degree in?” for
a moment it caught me off guard and the other medical staff
that I had been sharing with just looked at me in surprise
holding their breath. The only reply I could give was
“I guess you could say I have a P.H.D. in dying do you?”
